Vaikselt tagasi põhja poole – Päev 11

Hommikul ärkasime vara, kuna haagises läheb nii palavaks. Ja haagises läheb nii palavaks, sest väljas on juba hommikust peale palav. Sõime hommikust ning hakkasime vaikselt asju kokku panema. Maksime oma ööbimise eest 495 kn Auto camp SANI. Omanikud on sõbralik abielupaar, kes seal samas kõrval majas elavad. Eelmisel õhtul oli jalgpall ja Horvaatia võitis – seda ei kuulda igal pool- lasti ilutulestikkud, autod lasid tänaval signaali, kõikjal oli kuulda rõõmuhõikeid. Kämpingurahvas istusid kõik koos ja vaatasid mängu, omanik pakkus brändit, kuid meie magasime selle maha. Meie jõudime hilja, pesime lapsed ära, käisime linnas toidupoodi otsimas ja tankimas ning siis chillisime kahekesi. Ega selle reisi jooksul väga kahekesi olemise võimalusi pole, õhtuti oleme tihti nii väsinud, et keerame kõik samal ajal magama. Päeva ajal on hea, kui lapsed lasevad vahele segamata pool lauset lõpetada. 

Hakkasime kella 11 paiku lõpuks sõitma. Mööda Horvaatia läänerannikut lookleb Jadranska magistrala ehk Aadria magistraal/maantee, mida peetakse Euroopa üheks kaunimaks teeks. Ja kuigi algul ei tundunud see midagi erilist, kuna merd oli vaevalt puude vahelt näha, siis lõpuks pidime Taneliga mõlemad nõustuma, et sel teel on väga kaunid vaated. Tee lookles mägede vahel üles ja alla, ühelpool kivised kaljud, teisel pool helesinine sillerdav meri. Tee on kitsas ja peatumisvõimalusi tee ääres praktiliselt pole. Väga kiiresti sel teel sõita ei saa ning inimesed eelistavad kiirteed ehk seepärast oli ka liiklust sel teel üsna vähe, või seetõttu, et mägede vahelt ei ole palju võimalusi selt teelt ära pöörata, kuid meie nautisime seda väga. Paar peatust siiski õnnestus ka teha, ning mõned videoklipid auto aknast. 

Peale lõunat hakkasime otsima kohta, kus ujuda saaks. Olime madalamal, rannale lähedal, kuid ruumi tee äärest just üleliia ei olnud. Lõpuks leidsime ühe tasulise parkla, kus tund maksis 4 kn. Ruumi seal jagus, nii et sinna me parkisime. Algul võtsime 2 h, kuid sellest jäi väheks, nii et võtsime tunni juurde. 

Vesi oli mõnusalt jahe ja selge. Proovisime Taneliga esimest korda snorkeldada üle pika aja. Täitsa vahva oli. Nägime kalu, tigusid ja merisiilikuid. Matul on kogu aeg mask ees ja toru suus kui vette läheb, vaikselt harjutab. Poisid ratsutasid oma täispuhutava krokodilli seljas ja meie saime ujuda. Vesi siinkandis on ainult väga soolane, pärast ujumist on üsna kleepuv tunne, natuke harjumatu, tahaks kohe dušši alla. 

 

Edasi jätkasime teed kaunite vaadete saatel kuni jõudsime Rijeka lähedale linnakesse Ičići, Camping Opatija-sse (1 öö 299 kn). See oli suur metsaalune keset linna, kus saime endale sobiva koha ise valida. Muidu oli kämpinguplats väga lihtne – dušširuumid olid 80ndatest, aga puhtad. Vetsus oli mõnes kabiinis ainult auk põrandas. Tanelile ei meeldinud seal kohe üldse, ning otsustasime teiseks ööks mitte jääda. Samas linnake oli kena, käisime õhtul jalutamas. Üle lahe paistis saareke/poolsaareke, kus särasid linnatuled. Mere ääres lookles promenaad, ranna äär oli väga kaljune, kuid iga väikese aja tagant oli loodud päevitamiseks lamedam plats ja trepp vette minekuks. 

Minul aga juhuts nii, et päeval läks mu sandaalil rihm ühelt poolt katki, nii et suht logises jalas. Siis läks ka teiselt poolt ka katki! nii et ainult üks rihm hoidis kinni. Lisaks sellele astusin õhtusel jalutuskäigul pimedas trepi servele ja väänasin hüppeliigese välja. Samal jalal. Õnneks mitte hullusti ja saan kõndida, lihtsalt algul oli valus.
